Prior to working with the Luc Hoffmann Institute, Michelle specialised in financial management of public sector-funded projects and provided capacity building within the WWF Network on risk mitigation and contractual and financial policies of public sector donors. Most recently she contributed to the start-up phase of WWF’s Global Practices, creating the structure for the financial management, planning, and financial overview for the Practice core teams.
Prior to joining WWF in 2008, Michelle worked for The Global Business Coalition to Fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. As Programme Officer, she coordinated the engagement and representation of the private sector at board meetings and on Global Fund committees, as well as other initiatives to fight the three diseases. Michelle holds a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on international organisation management from the University of Geneva (HEC), as well as a B.A. in Spanish.
