Last week, at the IWA Water and Development Congress, the International Water Association launched The Source magazine, a new publication focusing on thought leadership connecting water sector professionals with business, social sciences, economics and political sciences.
Featuring in this first issue of the magazine is a discussion on “Why a nexus approach is critical to water management”, produced by Nick Michell with the input of a panel of water experts, including Luc Hoffman Institute Research Lead, Dr. Louise Gallagher.
The article discusses the opportunities for supporting a multi-sector water management coordination with a focus on the nexus, as well as the risks of inaction in view of the declining availability of water resources. The article can be reached online at the Debate Section of the Source magazine, and can be also downloaded through THIS LINK.
The Source magazine will be distributed across multiple digital and print platforms, and will be available for free to IWA’s members and magazine subscribers.
